Learning is a change to long-term memory and everything we have stored in our long-term memory is knowledge. 

At Fulwood and Cadley, we follow a two-year cycle for mapping out the curriculum. This ensures that the  learning journey for each child from EYFS up to year 6 is uniform; ensuring our pupils have access to the same learning opportunities and experiences as their peers. 

Through our curriculum, our pupils build both the substantive knowledge and concepts central to a subject, as well as the disciplinary knowledge, the skills and methods we practice to secure the knowledge.
